Wild Orchids of colombia's cloud forest

By Jorge E. Orejuela

Over the past 30 years, Dr. Jorge Orejuela has been an educator and conservationist in Colombia. He is currently retired, having previously been the director of the Cali Botanical Garden and a professor in the environmental sciences department at the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. He has published several definitive books on the orchids of the cloud forests between Colombia and Ecuador.  He has generously allowed us to share some of his favorite orchid photos from his book “Orchids in the Mist”.
