Our carbon offset fund targets three issue facing our planet – climate change, mass species extinctions, and environmental degradation. Supporting our work results in a triple bottom line, helping to rebuild a planet pushed to extremes. Tropical forests soak up about 26 tons of carbon dioxide per hectare per year as they grow back. They do so for 20 years — and usually considerably longer.
Often overlooked in the discussion about climate change, trees are the best way back to a resilient and healthy planet for people and wildlife. It only takes $90 per year to create a wildlife corridor that will absorb the average U.S. consumer’s carbon emissions of 16 tons CO2 for an entire year.

That’s why we thought is was time to give consumers a chance to offset their carbon footprint by supporting conservation. Our carbon offset fund is a collection of projects that restore some of the world’s most important forests for biodiversity. In addition, our approach empowers rural communities to engage with conservation efforts in a meaningful way.
So how does our carbon offset fund work? By creating wildlife corridors with native trees, we are adding to the planet’s ability to convert carbon dioxide into oxygen. Trees have been quietly offsetting these carbon emissions for centuries, converting carbon dioxide into the oxygen we need for life.
Saving Nature, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation granted tax-exempt status with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, donations to the Saving Nature are tax-exempt and qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. Saving Nature complies with all 501(c)(3) rules and regulations.
